Apple Cider Vinegar Health Benefits My husband and I are trying to do things to help us feel better. Over the Thanksgiving holiday my husband Greg ended up in the emergency room for high blood pressure. In spite of our low sodium diets his pressure was on the rise. One natural alternative to taking prescriptions is by drinking Apple Cider Vinegar. It needs to be cold processed vinegar to be beneficial. We are taking 2 tablespoons a day (which I refer to as vinegar shots ) and the only noticeable difference is that my digestive system seems to love it. I am not bloated at all feel like my food digests quicker.   I read this week that Fergy of The Black Eyed Peas takes vinegar shots to keep her weight down.  Now that would be a great side effect!!  🙂

  1. I take mine at night because I take my medications in the morning. I don't think the time matters though. The cold processed will still have the “mother” in it. If you hold it up to the light you will see the brown “veins” all throughout the liquid. We are drinking the stuff from the store right now though because we had it and it is helping. When I need more, I will get it from the health food store. Good Luck

  2. how do you know if it's cold processed? do you take it in the morning or the evening? I think I am going to try this. We have apple cider vinegar but I don't know if it's cold processed.
